    PRN Pharmacal Division: We focus our efforts on arming vets, animal caregivers, and the animal health industry with an arsenal of worry-free tools—therapeutics, nutraceuticals, and medical supplies—that allow them to confidently and readily treat diseases and conditions that impact the quality of life for animals and their owners.

    Responsibilities

    We are looking for a great Territory Salesperson in Colorado/Arizona to call on key customers and work with distributors to grow company product sales and increase market share within the animal health industry. In this role you will be assisting customers with orders, answering questions on a wide range of products, and expanding product awareness in a multi-state geography.

     

    Areas of Primary Responsibility Include: 

    • Meet or exceed sales targets within assigned territory.
    • Develop/maintain a working relationship with distributor partners and their personnel throughout the territory by making direct-to-customer and joint sales calls.
    • Work with distributors to manage inventory levels, establish sales goals and develop promotional activities.
    • Complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion, including but not limited to: travel itineraries, business analysis and expense reports.
    • Assist in launching new product at all levels of supply chain.
    • Attend industry conferences, sales meetings and trade shows as requested.
    • Evaluate market and make product development recommendations based on customer needs and profitability to the company.
    • Provide inputs for marketing materials, programs and promotions as requested.
    • Perform other duties as may be required.

     

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience equivalent plus 3-7 years of Sales Experience.
    • Experience: 3-7 years sales experience in the animal health industry. Experience calling on and managing distributor accounts, as well as, managing a sales territory that covers a large geography.
    • Specialized knowledge: Experience in Customer Relations Management (CRM) software a plus.
    • Special skills: Business management skills for planning, implementing and analyzing sales/marketing programs.
    • Other skills: High proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong communications skills, and ability to build customer relationships
    • Travel required for this position is: Greater than 50%
    • Location: You must be in the territory of Colorado/Arizona or willing to relocate to this area in order to be considered.
