Responsibilities

 

The Sr. Coordinator, Trade Marketing Support role will have the following responsibilities while working at our downtown Kansas City office that shares space with our warehouse.

  1. Maintaining price list changes and keep Pet-Ag’s pricing, cost & margin spreadsheets current.
  2. Resolve pricing questions and issues on day to day orders from Customer Service
  3. Document and circulate approved monthly promotion quotes & create Power-Points with the quoted specials
  4. Keep trade promotion, TPR and quote templates current
  5. Maintain updates to all selling materials, images, price lists, promotions and other sales team support materials in shared system files
  6. Review bill backs, deductions for promotions, TPRs and calculate monthly coop invoices for approval by the Trade Marketing Manager
  7. Collect competitive intelligence on-line, in stores and from field sales team and archive in shared system files
  8. Keep up to date planogram information for use by Trade Marketing Manager and sales management in developing category sets for major pet chains, mass and key retail accounts
  9. Assist with development of selling materials, new product communications, displays, labels and other Marketing initiatives with the other members of the Marketing
  10. Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in Business Marketing or similar area. 
  • Experience: 2 years Trade Marketing and 1 year sales support.
  • Travel required in this position: 0-10%

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven project management skills, detail oriented, analytical and adept in mathematics, proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Power-Point and Word), superior written and oral communication skills
