We are seeking a top Territory Sales Representative in the Northern California and Nevada territory to call on key customers and work with distributors to grow company product sales and increase market share within the animal health industry.


If hired, you will be assisting customers with orders, answering questions on a wide range of products, and expanding product awareness in a multi-state geography.


Areas of Primary Responsibility Include: 

  • Meet or exceed sales targets within assigned territory.
  • Develop/maintain a working relationship with distributor partners and their personnel throughout the territory by making direct-to-customer and joint sales calls.
  • Work with distributors to manage inventory levels, establish sales goals and develop promotional activities.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion, including but not limited to: travel itineraries, business analysis and expense reports.
  • Assist in launching new product at all levels of supply chain.
  • Attend industry conferences, sales meetings and trade shows as requested.
  • Evaluate market and make product development recommendations based on customer needs and profitability to the company.
  • Provide inputs for marketing materials, programs and promotions as requested.
  • Perform other duties as may be required.

More information:

  • A car allowance and gas reimbursement is provided.  
  • This is a work from home opportunity with about 50% travel, including some nights and weekends, and some overnight trips. 
  • The areas this position will be in the following areas: Northern California and Nevada. 



  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of at least 7+ years of equivalent of work experience.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in the animal health industry. (Experience needs to include calling on and managing distributor accounts, as well as, managing a sales territory that covers a large geography.)
  3. Specialized knowledge: Experience in Customer Relations Management (CRM) software a plus.
  4. Special skills: Business management skills for planning, implementing and analyzing sales/marketing programs.
  5. Other skills: High proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong communications skills, and ability to build customer relationships
  6. Travel required for this position is: Greater than 50%
