This role will support the Director of Marketing with the leadership and oversight of all core marketing functions for all Pet-Ag brands. 

Scope of areas this role includes are: Brand Messaging, Communication, Digital Marketing, Market Research, Annual Plans development, Media Planning and Execution, Project Management, Discovery and working with the Director of Marketing on the definition of New Product Opportunities



  • Brand Messaging and Communication-Lead the projects associated with development of all assets of Pet-Ag brands which may include: logos, advertising, packaging, collateral, digital, trademark, and brand standards.
  • Market Research- Initiate and oversee key projects associated with qualitative and quantitative research to provide key decision making support for establish brands and new products.
  • Oversee the supplier of audit data to ensure on time delivery and delegation to all team members
  • Annual Plans Development-Initiate the start of plans development by providing key timelines and oversight of all aspects that lead to the final approval. Then lead the process of execution of these plans.
  • Analytical Skills- A strong ability to analyze both internal and external sales data that provide a fact base to strategic decision making
  • Media Planning- Work with the Director of Marketing on the planning and execution of any channel median Pet-Ag chooses to support certain or all brands.
  • Project Management-Utilize exceptionally strong organizational skills to lead a project team in the execution of all brand projects from small label changes to line extensions or new product launches. Communicating regularly with the Director of Marketing on any escalations or unusual circumstances arising as needed.
  • Team Support- Support the other Marketing, Sales and Tech Services team members when Brand support materials or brand related messaging is required such as: brand PowerPoints, social media consumer related issues, collateral, trade show booth design, retailer requirements for brand assets, etc.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 6 + years of previous marketing experience on a consumer or pet care brand is required.
  • 3 + years of experience in all forms of Digital Communication to include social media, content creation, and management across multiple platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.
  • 3 + years of experience managing subordinates and agency partners
  • 3+ years of project management as a Brand Manager or in a similar role in a corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: MBA is preferred with an emphasis in Marketing or related field.
  • Ability to Lead and Command the Respect of all Internal and External Customers at every level of the organization
  • Strong team player orientation with emphasis on an attitude of one company goal achievement
  • Realization of how  essential great attention to detail is in achieving success in this position
  • Listening Skills, to understand exactly what both Internal and External customers require.
