Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the data critical to the functions of the Regulatory, R&D and Technical Services Department. 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities/Activities:

 

  • Maintain DocuWare document management system.
  • Develop, organize and coordinate all incoming and outgoing correspondence with the USEPA regarding pesticide registrations.
  • Improve workflow processes within the department. This may involve researching, recommending and implementing appropriate software to achieve those process improvements
  • Maintain internal database (currently Microsoft Access) for all existing and acquired studies data. 
  • Interface between departments to maintain the physical and electronic files.
  • Compile periodic reports and submit to USEPA and state agencies.
  • Support partial development and review of all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Coordinate and assist management in organizing the budget for the department and new product registration activities to include processing invoices.
  • Research internal or external databases or other sources to acquire needed data or business intelligence to support product registrations or other business initiatives.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a working knowledge of the functions of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), particularly as they affect the implementation of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
  • All other duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Four plus years in an administrative /  data driven support role or similar function
  • Strong computer knowledge including a proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Microsoft Access skills preferred but not required
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
