Work in concert with Project Manager to manage the development of assigned PBI/Gordon products as they proceed from conceptualization and initial testing through feasibility evaluation and as they transition to sales/marketing departments as products are launched. Work in concert with Project Manager to promote training material for Pest Management process and facilitate training over new and existing processes.

Work with Manager(s) of Field Research to track approved field study protocols and data assimilation for marketing and commercialization of new products.


  1. Manage projects within MS Project-Product Development Management
  2. Work with various departments (Market Research, Field Research, Formulation Chemistry, Production, Marketing, and Regulatory) to establish and manage project timelines and project schedules.
  3. Maintain Project Templates and conceptualize with Manager of Project Management and Process Development to coordinate deliverables and content integration
  4. Create and develop training material and facilitate training for newly developed processes or existing processes with a refreshed emphasis on accountability.
  5. Assist Field Station Research Manager in managing MS Access-Research Database Management and ARM Software
  6. Provide dedicated support to the Vice President-Product Development, Director and Manager(s) of Field Research, Project Manager
  7. Orchestrate action item creation, tracking, completion using various software applications and/or hard copies to aid in the progression of products through phases of development.
  8. Maintain Product Development contact databases
  9. File management
  10. Track and maintain samples received by Product Development
  11. Manage travel for Product Development, VP’s and other members of management as requested
  12. Responsible for accounting/purchasing coordination for Research Team and actions involved with product research
  13. Cross Departmental Assistance
  14. Other duties as assigned


  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of leadership/management style skill
    • 3+ years of training/teaching, training material creation, process development


  • Specialized knowledge or training:
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe software
    • Professional Project Management Certification (requires continued education yearly to maintain certification)
    • Excellent Customer Service, Organizational, and Communication Skills
    • 3+ years project management experience


  • Other special skills:
    • Knowledge of Project Management software
    • Strong leadership, communication, and delegation skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Decision making capabilities
    • Strong ability to multi-task
