  • Overview

    Basic Purpose: This position supports both the marketing and sales functions of PRN Pharmacal. This will primarily include tradeshow strategy, execution and administration, serving as the marketing point-of-contact for distribution, and management of marketing collateral.  Additionally, the position will coordinate payments of tradeshow/sales/marketing invoices in conjunction with managing the marketing advertising and promotion budget.  


    Areas of Primary Accountability:

    • Update and maintain meeting calendar for Sales and Marketing for the rolling 12-month year. Meetings include tradeshows, geographical customer meetings (e.g. local VMAs, equine meetings, regional distributor sales meetings, etc.), national distributor partner meetings, internal sales meetings and key-opinion leader summits.
    • Develop and execute tradeshow strategy to maximize brand impact and booth traffic within allotted budget.
    • Manage all tradeshow logistics, including tradeshow booking, booth placement, working with third parties for booth set-up/takedown, in-booth activities, travel/lodging and lead retrieval.
    • In-person or remotely manage all meeting activities (minimum in-person attendance of six trade shows and four internal sales meetings per year)
    • Act as a coordinator for the national sales meeting and regional sales meeting in conjunction with the Director of Sales and the Area Sales Managers.
    • Support logistical needs Director of Sales and Area Sales Managers.
    • Communicate to and answer questions from distribution regarding periodic promotions and price changes on a monthly basis, while managing the master price schedule.
    • Act as a “clearing house” for advertising media, advertising collateral and tradeshow invoices, while maintaining up-to-date visibility to advertising and promotion budget spend.
    • Develop, administer and manage competitive bid processes to identify solutions that conform to business and commercial requirements for all of marketing and sales procurements needs. This includes, but is not limited document printing, collateral/giveaways and meeting locations.
    • Procure and manage inventory of promotional and collateral items for marketing and sales.
    • Creation and management of SOP regarding salesperson collateral dissemination, including product samples and sales literature.
    • Other duties as required.


    • Education: Bachelor’s degree a plus
    • Experience: Two years’ minimum experience in customer service and support. Trade show management experience preferred. 
    • Specialized knowledge: Clear expertise in BtoB and BtoC marketing required, experience with emerging media a plus.
    • Other skills: High proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong organizational and communications skills (written and oral), with ability to thrive in transparent, teamwork-focused environment, while fulfilling diverse roles.
    • Travel required for this position is: Approximately 35%.
